Hi, I'm Julie — the maker behind The Happy Print Kitchen, and I'm so happy you're here.

I'm a full-time mum of four, creating cheerful, meaningful prints from my kitchen table. Most days there's a big pile of washing nearby, plenty of background chaos, and a cup of coffee that's usually gone cold — but it's a space filled with creativity, love, and a lot of heart.

Every piece you see from The Happy Print Kitchen is designed and made by me, by hand. I take great care with every print I create, which means no two are ever exactly the same. I love that each one is a little unique — just like the homes and families they're made for.

The idea for my prints started quite simply. I wanted to brighten up my own home, but original artwork often felt out of reach for my budget at the time. Not because it isn't worth it — artists absolutely deserve to be paid for their incredible work — but it just wasn't something I could afford then. So I began experimenting and creating my own prints to add a bit of personality and colour to our walls.

What started as something just for our home slowly grew into something much bigger. Friends and family loved the pieces I was making, and before long, The Happy Print Kitchen was born.

My goal has always been simple: to create beautiful, meaningful prints that feel special, but are still affordable and accessible. I believe everyone deserves to have art in their home that makes them smile, sparks a memory, or adds a little joy to their space.

Running this little business from home means I get to do something I truly love while still being around for my family every day. That balance means everything to me and is something I feel incredibly grateful for.
