Be More Cat

Say hello to Yoda! This original, hand crafted linocut print has been made to remind us all to lay around on our backs for a bit longer than usual and marvel at the wonder of small things!! Just like Yoda does - if you can get someone to prepare your meals and clean your toilet thats an extra win!!!

The design began as one of my hand-drawn sketches before being carefully carved into lino and printed by hand in vibrant turquoise ink. Look closely and you'll spot a tiny red heart on one of Yoda's paw pads—a little detail that's easy to miss but always makes me smile.

Each print is individually hand printed from my original lino block, meaning no two are ever exactly the same. Every impression has its own subtle character, making your artwork a small original rather than something mass-produced.

THE PRINTMAKING PROCESS

Every print starts as a sketch before being carefully carved into lino by hand. Ink is then rolled onto the block before each print is individually pressed onto paper, creating the rich textures and character that make linocut printmaking so special. It's a wonderfully hands-on process that means every print has its own unique charm.
